Have you signed into self serve and looked at your detailed bill?

Yes, you can see your bill on there. Once you register and get setup, go to the billing Tab and select your bill. Anything that seems out of the ordinary will be explained on page 3. If you want to dispute something or have something explained to you, then you can call customer service (no charge) either using *611 on your Koodo device or 1-866-995-6636 from any phone and see what can be done.

Click on the billing tab, then click on ebill, then on the date of the most recent bill. Details start on page 3.

Either proration of 9 days if this is your first bill, or you have $18 in overage charges. One of those two would be my guess.

You might want to get the International Add-on. For $2/month, the cost for calling to the US (and certain other countries) will be reduced to 5 Cents/min (it will still use up the minutes included in your plan). And you'll get some of that back on your Tab.

This way, your brother could call to the US for about five hours for $18. :-)

Appreciate the Info. My bro has a similar plan. He was only using my phone because his i-phone locked up on him (another story) He's looking at the new Samsung. Anyway, I''ll pass that advice along to him. Thanks again. Cheers
