Why bother listing Pre Owned phones if they can't say where they are located?

I am in the market for a new phone and I was checking out the Pre Owned selection here on the website. The HTC One V caught my eye and is listed at $75 but it's only available "in store". But I know for a fact that stores around here don't carry these phones, or if they do, they aren't Pre Owned. I'm just confused as to why they would even bother listing phones that you can't order online.

To show what Koodo offers for their line of devices...

To notify people that it's only available in stores. Not all locations may carry the specific phone or have any in stock. Would you rather them not list the phones at all and have customers just guess?
I'd rather them only list phones that they are able to sell directly. Or at least say for certain where you can buy them.

I take this as you wanting to be lazy. It's impossible for Koodo to list which stores have which phones due to inventory(or in some cases, lack there of). The only way to handle this is to just call and ask.

Ooh Adam, do let's be nice :)
I thought it was an EXCELLENT suggestion of Tyler (the other Tyler, haha) - it would prevent having to phone around to see which store offers the pre-owned phones.
Though I see Tyler's (yes that Tyler this time :) point that it might be difficult to implement :D

You don't want the htc one v anyway. There's a very good reason it's selling so cheap.

I agree with OP, if you're gonna list something as in-store, at least list what store. Or at least enable your local store to track down and order one for you. It is 2013 after all.

Ok, they list the phone at a store. You go and they don't have any in stock. Now what?

Same thing I do with every other retailer. I call the store for confirmation/reservation before I make the trip.
