Need more information. Are you being billed by koodo? By an app store? Are you using a non Canadian credit card?

Hi Olivier, is it a charge on your Koodo bill or on your credit card statement? If it's on the statement, is the charge directly from Koodo? Thank you!

hi, if you have the pre authorised payment, i think this cent only to verify that the credit card is active and not maxed out but, I might be wrong but i think you actually get it back, it s only pre authorised but not charged, you could ask your bank also.

So is it one percent or one cent? Check with your cc, you may be paying a fee to use the card in this manner.

I am getting the same problem now. This month is 3 cents over. 3 individual 1 cent transaction plus the exact bill payment. Just called koodos and they said to contact the bank and have them deal with koodos financial.

It's an authorization that automatically gets reversed a few days to a week later.

Why? For three months i get charged one cent extra and reversed a week later. That's two extra transaction for nothing using up my bank transaction limits. It should just charge the amount. What's the point? This month it's three extra transaction and then most likely three reversed when and if that happens. I don't want to be dinged for service charge for too much use at the bank.

Card security validation. It's an authorization and not an actual charge so don't worry about it. Authorizations don't count towards your transactions.

Sounds good. I'll double check at the bank.
