Why will the site not allow me to use the tab?

I was approved to upgrade my phone over the phone with a Koodo rep by using the "Tab" option. The guy told me to go into the store and pick out my new phone. I decided to order one online instead as it's the easier option for me. When I chose the phone i wanted (LG G4) the page said:

retail price:                        654.00
positive tab balance:        -132.03
activation credit:               -244.00
tab discount:                     -277.97

due now:    $0
tab: $12/month over 24 months

SO all well and good! But when I go to check out it says "heads up! we had to make some changes to your order!" and it adds the price of the tab back on the bill ($277.97 plus taxes) and asks for my credit card. Why is this happening? I have tried everything to make it go onto the monthly tab plan and it won't. Advice greatly appreciated.

Try emptying your cart then login to self serve and try again.

Kristen, can you pls try to empty your cart and see if that helps. I just tested that phone at it works for me when I go through the purchase.

nope not working :( i guess i will just have to go to the store. not ideal as the nearest store is an hour and a half away from me is all.

The G4 is only available online. Maybe call Koodo and explain what's happening. You can even point them to this thread.

Btw have you tried using a different Web browser?

I have not tried using a different browser but I will try that now! I was really hoping it would work as the G4 is the one I wanted and like you said it's only available online.

Hi Kristen!

When the system asks you to pay the remaining retail price ($277.97 plus taxes in your case), it means that you are not eligible to the Tab. The rep who approved the upgrade of your phone (by using the "Tab" option) was probably talking about using your positive Tab points (132.03) and not using a new Tab ($360).
