Have been unable to get onto the internet or check email for 4 days now. Usually do this through Wi-Fi as I don't have a mobile data plan. My Wi-Fi signal is strong and Koodo is activated in the APN. Please help. Using Samsung Galaxy Core LTE phone.
When I try to connect to the web it states that it can't connect because the DNS look-up failed, and goes on to explain what most often causes these errors (no internet connection or a misconfigured network, or can be caused by an unresponsive DNS server or a firewall preventing internet from accessing the network). For attempts to connect to email it says "unable to connect to email server to verify your account information. No response from server." Nothing has changed with my anti-virus or firewall on my Wi-Fi internet connection, so I don't know why I can't get the connection.
I have had this happen a few times in the past. it show it as being connected, with a good signal, but it says "no internet". the only way I got it to work again was to go to the wi-fi setting, and tell it to "forget" the connection and then reconnect again. you will need to re-enter the password
