When I go into self-serve, the list of plan options give identical benefits (750mb, 750 minutes) but the prices are wildly higher ($50, as opposed to the plan listed publicly on the website, which is $43). Can anyone explain to me why I can't access the advertised price?

Because for those plans you need to be put on the New Tab System, for that your tab needs to be at 0 and at that point you need to call customer care and they can activate those new plans.

Thank you for the information! I will do that.

I wish there was some system for them to notify customers when a plan has been replaced by a much better plan. It's frustrating to have been paying so much extra for so long - my tab balance is -$55!!

So you would have to wait until it reaches 0, that is why clients were not notified, because a majority of them are not eligible.
