I purchased both my kids cell phone at the same place and time. Same phone and everything. However a year later one tab balance is 135 ish while the other is 85 ish. Both have the $5 tab on each bill
What gives?

Hello Richard. Tab balance depends also on the plan you have. Before the new tab system it was tab charge + 10% of the plan

Actual, it was tab charge plus 10 or 15% of the bill.

So to sum up what Timo and Robert said, the reason one is slightly different than the other would be the 10/15% contribution (depending which one you get). If each plan is different, price wise, then one tab will be paid off faster. Also, if one of the children ever go over their plan and have extra charges that you paid over the last year, the contributes to reducing your tab even faster which is what I think it's from
