I've been with Koodo for over 6 or 7 years now. I fully pay my bills ahead of time, each and every month, and have been a great customer to you. So why is it that with other phone companies, if you're loyal to them and pay your shit on time, they'll be just as loyal in return and start giving better deals as time goes on? I have never once received a message from Koodo thanking me or even attempting to give me any kind of deals. At one point, around 2 years ago, I found out BY MYSELF that I was on a plan that was outdated and there was an exact same plan as mine that was cheaper. NOT A SINGLE PERSON FROM KOODO THOUGHT THIS MIGHT BE SOMETHING I'D LIKE TO KNOW. You guys are scammers and don't give a crap about your customers. I don't know if you've gone online recently to look at your reviews but you have 1.8 stars out of 5. Not looking too good there Koodo. You might want to start fixing some of the ways you do things. Also, I have a galaxy s5 Neo right now that I got a couple of years ago, and when I went in to get my screen protector replaced ($60 AND warrantied) they told me they had discontinued my phone and they don't sell them anymore. Again, you guys decided not to fill me in so I wasted time out of my life and money I don't have to spend. They guy didn't even offer me in-store credit or ANYTHING. I'm going in to Koodo today to upgrade my phone, and if you guys screw me over again, I'm switching companies. I've been dealing with your bulls*** for YEARS without a single complaint, and today I've had enough. I will never suggest Koodo to anyone again.

Hi k0chana,
The forum is populated with customers like you. I am not sure if the language would help or it just showed some rant.

You could change your plan once per month, in the selfserve, to suit your need. If there is a price change (with promotion), you could change your plan to it (on the same Tab). You were entitled to it. A recent promotion on plans have just ended on the Mar4 (they had that promotion for last 2,3 months).

Koodo is a trying to be a self-serve brand, I don't think they will reach out to long-time customers but customers have to be on the lookout for the promotion.

Regarding the S5 Neo, Koodo doen't produce it, Samsung does. If the phone was more than 1 years old, it was out of warranty. That is the case for everyone.

Regarding any credits or promotion, you could try to talk to an agent at store, or call to talk/send message to facebook to ask specifically for your case. I would try to be polite, we are all normal people.

Koodo considers itself a self-serve brand. There are deals populated to customers but the process is automated and you may or may not get it.

You paid 60 dollars for a screen protector? Holy ripoff batman! This was at a Koodo store? If you must pay big bucks for someone to put one on you and warrantied, you're best off going to Best Buy. They say 1 year most places but they'll just do it anytime and it's not limited to newly sold phones as they custom cut to the phone on the spot. It's like 25 bucks. I'd personally just buy one off of eBay and put it on myself.

If the screen protector is warrantied, you need to contact the manufacturer.  Koodo is a telecom provider and not a maker of the screen protector.

Regarding promo offers, if you have never received any communication from Koodo, your account may have been opted out of marketing stuff.  I would contact Koodo (pm via facebook or twitter to make sure you are not opted out)

Curious if your truly not happy then why are you still going with koodo for your new phone today instead of going to the competition?

Also agree with Goran buy Tempered Glass screen protectors off eBay for less than $5 a piece and grab a few (many are sold in packs of two or three) , they're made to break instead of your phones screen breaking so when they do break rip it off and apply a new one and away you go. I've actually broken one in my 5+ years of having at least 3-5 phones a year with Tempered Glass screen protectors I've bought off ebay for a couple dollars so you should be fine grabbing a couple for like $10 and good for thr life of your phone. More expensive ones may have a warranty but it's because they rarely get broken and ppl don't want to go through the trouble of contacting the company who made them and taking pictures and such of it and lose their receipt or didn't bother applying for thr warranty by registering with some of them companies.

Okay thank you guys, I've calmed down a bit since my rant lol I see where you're all coming from , and I will contact them about the marketing stuff I guess. I guess I'm just not good at self serve stuff. Also, I'm going today to see what they'll do for me in regards to upgrading my phone. If I don't get a decent deal on an upgrade I'm going to look elsewhere.

As a customer, you should always shop around and see what's out there, regardless if you are happy with your current provider or not

True, I just hate the hassle . And I did honestly figure if I had good history with these guys over time they'd try to upgrade me to better plans. But yes, as you said before , I probably have the marketing thing set to opted out seeing as how I've never received any alerts or anything

The CRTC and the wireless code has made switching very easy now.  Hopefully this will spur more competition

Thank you for the insight ! I appreciate it, and thanks for being patient with my childishness lmfao I get worked up too easily. But in my defense, it's true when I say that Koodo has a lot they need to work on in terms of customer service . There's too many upset people out there who have much better reasons than I for disliking the company.

No worries.  We can all get worked up.  But Koodo is really hands-off.  They leave it up to the customer to keep on top of new plans, promo's, etc
