Why doesn't my credit card work with koodo?

It just says can't verify credit card, and I need to top up my account, it is a canadian credit card, the only reason I can think it would be denied, is if Koodo uses that strict billing system, as my address uses 2 address lines, and koodo only allows you to use one. My card works everywhere else though, and Koodo accepted it when I entered it, it just won't let me add any money to my account.

If it worked when you set up Prepaid account, then you should be able to open up your account too.
Did you try top up by calling *611?

I havn't tried *611, just to clarify, when I set up my prepaid account, I didn't use the card to add funds, I added the card to get the 100 min booster, and I used the $20 activation bonus for my first month

*611 worked, seems my problem was the amount I was trying to add, which was $100, when I used the phone, the highest option they gave me was $55, so I choose $50 and it went through, then I added another $50, also went though. I checked the self serve on the site, and it shows the full amount, so I guess the problem was you can't add more then $55 at a time.

Ok. So, you already set up auto top up? And if you could top up by 611, it means your credit card works :)

Then, it will just renew your account. If you need to adjust the amount, log into self serve > Billing > Manage Auto top up > and pick the amount you want. It seems you can pick up to $100 from drop down menu.

It wasn't auto top up, just a 1 time top up, I wanted to add $100, so I have the money there for future months. I wouldn't mind auto top up since you get a 10% discount on your bill, but as far as I could gather, auto top up only works for monthly top ups, and what I wanted was to just add $100, which will cover the plan for about 6 months.

Yeah, not sure why it wouldn't work on the website, I know the 1 time top up on the phone didn't give me an option above $55, but if auto top up allows you to add $100, then no idea what the problem was. I guess I will just use the phone for top ups, for now on.

Yes, its sound strange... You could register your CC,.
But system didn't allow you to top up $100 through online.( Yet,you could do it through 611)

Auto top up up is handy. I don't need worry about miss adding funds in the account.

10% save with auto top up works as credit back .
So, I set it up with $15 and they will put $1.5 credit back into my account. You can accumulate amount to buy more booster(s) or renew your account when you have enough funds in your account :)
