Settings>Display

There should be a setting here to adjust the screen time out or when the screen dims

Are you a Beta tester?  I'm experiencing the exact same thing on my Droid Turbo.  If you look on the Beta Facebook page there are others reporting it.  They recommend reporting it through the app.  They are looking into it.

I am a beta tester, have s6 edge and it's doing the same. It's annoying. I hope that fb finds a solution for this soon.

I noticed that the problem happened the same time FB started stories. So, I am guessing that this was a symptom, maybe?

If you are on the newest version of FB then check the comments in the playstore of the FB app and see if others are experiencing the same issue. You can even try to filter the comments to your specific device to see if its affecting that model. I know FB pushes out multiple different versions of their app depending on deferent criteria as well so might not be easy to nail it down.

If FB was pre installed on your phone model then you could delete the updates and go back to the factory installed version and see if that changes anything.

Me too. FB beta, S7 Edge. Cleared the FB cache, reinstalled, seems to fix it.

Uninstall then reinstall. It worked for a moment but problem recurred. I'm leaving beta.

Download the latest FB update. Should be fixed.
