Why does my bill charge me twice for the protection plan??

I would really like know why Koodo charges me $7 for the protection plan and then charges me an additional $6.77 for the Koodo protection plan? When I got a new phone and was offered the protection plan, I was well explained that it would be a 7.00 add on. I don't wish to pay any surcharge to that. NOT happy!

When did you buy your protection plan? Just after your billing date?
It could be a prorated charge + 1 full month charge - it's like when you do your plan change middle of your billing cycle.
Check the date for $7 for the protection plan and date for $6.77 on your Ebill.

I just looked at my ebill, no dates are indicated for the 6.77 charge but I think that makes sense.
