Hi Richard,
It is part of their requirement when ordering online https://www.koodomobile.com/help/ordering-online They will charge any "due now" amount onto that credit card, and they properly will do a soft credit check also.

I'm a current customer and have paid my bill on time for over 10 years. I hardly doubt they need to check my credit. My account speaks for itself....

Richard,
It is normally a softcredit check. Also that is a part of the requirement for buying phone on Tab. A Tab is considered as an "interest free" loan.

If you are ordering a phone online credit card info is needed for a credit check.

Dont get why you're upset about this. Most companies will do the same thing. It is not just something that Koodo does.

Any wireless company that I know of will do a credit check so this shouldn't be a surprise or anything new.
