Two tab charges on my bill ($10 = $15).  I paid off the tab for my old phone and got a new phone.  My contract says my existing tab of $10 will continue for 24 months.  On hold with Koodo for 27 minutes now....

One tab charge for your last phone, one for the new one you got.
Or did you pay off your last tab on a previous bill?

Did you just upgrade to a new phone? If you did then you'll pay the tab for your old phone and then thr tab for your new phone that your just starting to pay off. Not sure if I'm understanding the issue

Your bill would have been tabulated / issued before you paid off your old tab if you paid in a lump sum at point of purchase of new device.

When did you pay it off though? If you just paid it off for this bill then you will see a charge for both tabs.

doesn't account for where the $15 tab charge came from.  never had a $15 tab before.  currently waiting 34 minutes on hold with Koodo.

You mentioned you just bought a new phone on the tab. Could you take a screenshot of your pdf ebill where you see these charges. It'll help us figure this out. Just leave out any personal information.

it feels like this is a deceptive way to accumulate extra funds.... can't actually talk to a real person... 36 minutes and holding...

If you can post your bill here (delete all personal information before doing so) then we can see the detail. Someone might know why.

Otherwise, if you are already on hold with Koodo, I would suggest you wait and ask them. If you have more information to discuss you could come back here. It would be more productive.

after 40 minutes on hold, i spoke to customer service rep and she indicated that the additional $15 charge was an error and she reversed the charges.  she also said that for the past 2 months this problem has been ongoing for people that upgraded phones.
