Hi lesslie,
Are you a postpaid customer? and your plan didn't include any data? Have you got this issue before? As a postpaid customer you had access to payperuse data (no matter you wanted it or not, it is in the contract).

If you have blocked your cellular data (using settings in your phone) and that still happened, you could contact Koodo and dispute it. I would suggest you send messages to their facebook to avoid the wait on phone.

@Lesslie, if you have a plan that doesn't include data and you want to make sure your phone won't access the internet (smartphone do do that for updates etc.) that I would recommend to add our data block for $2 a month. That will guarantee no data charges. You can add it online when you log into your account under 'Mobile Services' then click the 'Manage Add-ons' button.

This will permit you to sens MMSs without any worries about using data.
