why do canadian toll free numbers show in call history on nexus 5 as being to United States?

Hi Ron,

Canada and the United States use the same toll numbers. Both countries use the 1-800, 1-844, 1-855, 1-866, 1-877 and 1-888. There is nothing that says 1-888 is Canada only. They are used interchangeably between countries, and it might of been a number that was actually in the United States or the system just doesn't see a distinction as to wether it is a Canadian or US number.

Just a note for the future :)
There won't be long distance charges when you used those toll free numbers. But it will use your anytime minutes if you don't have an unlimited minutes or if you call outside of unlimited Evenings $ Weekends.
