I have 2 Koodo phones, on one the tab is fully paid off, the other has tab on it. I want to transfer the number of the paid off phone to the newly bought phone. How can I do that?? Self serve does not allow any such number change, and gives a message "the Koodo number is already in use".
Phone numbers are linked to SIM cards not phones, so if you take the SIM card linked to the phone number you want to transfer and put it into the phone you want to use with that phone number it will work seamlessly. The only potential issue is if the 2 different phones use a different sized SIM card. If that is the case you would need to get the appropriate sized SIM card and then activate it with the Phone number you want to use it on.
