Prepaid plan with Talk Booster.

Why can't I DISABLE the Call Forward on my cell phone?

When I select DISABLE on my cell phone it says it is not allowed.

Which cell phone do you have? It probably is because it is an add # on in self-serve that you pay for to get and I'd you don't have It add led then you don't have to worry about it.

I read all the posts in your other thread as well as those from Puzzled and have good news and bad news:

The good(?) is that you are probably the first human beings to get call forwarding to work on prepaid. I've tried many times and it's been a no-go.

The bad is that it's obvious stuck ON so that every time you call from your landline to check voice messaging your phone is essentially answering the phone first and costing you minutes.

Stooopid questions: have you tried to cancel using keycodes? :

Was your phone a Koodo device originally? The original carrier may have implemented call forwarding differently in firmware, so even resetting the unit to "factory specs" will not help.

I would suggest taking the phone to a Koodo boutique and trying your SIM in another handset. Have them call your number from a store phone and do the star thing to check your voicemail. You will then see how things should work in terms of billling when you check usage in self serve.

There may also have been an effort on Koodo's part to fix the no call forwarding problem on prepaid that has resulted in a glitch. It's unusual to say the least to have this many posts on a topic that hasn't been visitied much in the last 2 years.

Please let us know how this pans out if you do make it to a boutique.
