I enter my e-mail and password but can't get into my account, any suggestions besides getting a new phone plan? I've got a flip phone and live in rural b.c. but I get excellent reception.

When you say you can't access your account...are you suggesting you can't use your flip phone with your Koodo line, or that you can't log into self-serve?

If you can't access your Koodo line, are you sure your flip phone is 3G compatible? You say you get excellent reception, does that mean someone with a Koodo phone in your area will have no trouble connecting a call or browsing the web on their phone?
Side note: Most flip phones are 2G only, meaning they won't work on Koodo's 3G/4G/LTE network. If it's a CDMA phone, you may have to call customer service to associate that handset with your line, and even then, CDMA will be phased out soon if it hasn't been phased out already.

If you can't log into self-serve, have you tried the "forgot password" option?

I mean on line, tried the forgot password area... no reply from koodo.  funny part is that I can still pay my bill by phone..... no problem.  like I say, the service is way better than bell or telus, much larger area of accessibility and nice clear signal.  I guess i'll have to wait till this contract is over then get a new one... thanks for your comment though.

Coverage is identical, since Koodo is owned by Telus and uses their network. Bell/Telus also have a network sharing agreement.

You can contact Koodo via Facebook message or via Twitter. They should be able to help you reset your password.

Hey Ian,

Some flip phones if they are 3G compatible have better connections than smart phones because they only access 3G network. It means lower frequencies with better penetration. Their antennas are usually in upper flip part giving it advantage in having better signal.

If connection is more important for you than having latest fancy smart phone, find another good 3G compatible flip phone, at least for the time being.

As a side note, it is interesting to know that some people still think that Koodo is independent Phone Company.

You can also set smartphones with LTE to only allow 3G connections.

@ Allan

It goes without saying that you can set your smart phone to 3G. My point is that somehow people with good 3G compatible flip phones have better connection (not reception) than on smart phones. Speaking from personal experience.
