Planing to get two new iphones (5s or 5c) from the states, and I have many questions, so please bear with me,

First if an iphone is looked by a US carrier will I be able to unlock it in Canada?

Also I wish that the phones we get works on koodo 2/3/4g networks, so will any iphone 5c/s works on these networks, is there any thing I should be looking for (i.e locked to carriers carriers, frequencies, bands ...etc) to avoid surprises?

For the 5S as long as the model number is A1533 it will work with Koodo. As for the 5C, it will need to be the A1532 to work with Koodo.

As for the unlocking, yes you will be able to get it unlocked, but you will need to go to one of the third party vendors that are often found in malls with a bunch of phone casses and get them to unlock it. Koodo will not be able to unlock it for you.

Thanks for the information, couple of more questions, what iphone 6 model I can use on the Koodo network?

Also if I get a sprint/verizon iphone 6 can I use them on the Koodo network? (they are suppose to be unlocked)

Sprint & Verizon are still using CDMA technology, which have been or are being phased out by all Canadian carriers. If you must shop stateside, look for AT&T compatibility.
