My S3 says I've reached my 1 gb data limit. The koodo app says I am at 995mb and the website says I'm at 990. Which is right? Why the discrepancy?

I would err on the side of Caution. Being off by a few MB sounds about right.

The phone would record a data transmission attempt that didnt connect which could have counted on your phone but not Koodo. Or maybe your phone app counts picture messages and Koodo does not.

The curious item is why the Koodo app and website differ. There could be a delay on one of them.

There is for sure a delay between the phone and the Koodo website. There is a disclaimer on there that states this

Yeah there is a delay and the app built into Android OS does indeed count all data including mms (picture & video messages) which Koodo does not.

At your place I would stop using data at all and wait for the month to pass! I always keep count with the counter in my phone so that I better be safe then sorry
