Where is my voice mailbox??

I had someone from Koodo's customer service suspend my service as I was going to be out of the country for a couple of months. I couldn't do the change through self service becasue I kept getting an error message (which BTW is still not fixed...).
I insisted that I did want to keep my voice mailbox working during my trip. I was reassured many times that I will not loose my voice mailbox with the new Plan and that I will be able to check it remotely as I often do. Well, guess what? I just tried to call myself and the mailbox is gone! I just get a message saying that the phone does not receive calls...to make things worse, I just lost some calls that I was not supposed to..Can someone please urgently do something about this?

You would need to change your service back to an active plan. Putting your phone on seasonal hold and wanting to receive voicemails is roughly equivalent to suspending your cable service but still wanting your pvr to record your favourite shows. If you are currently overseas, your best bet is to message koodo support on facebook and am if they can switch your plan to active. You can try to do so through self serve as well but only one change is allowed per billing cycle so that method may not work if you just recently switched to the seasonal hold.

Thanks for the quick reply. Yes, I am currently overseas. If I understand this right, I am paying 15$/month to park my number? interesting... this is completely NOT what I was told by customer service. As for self serve, whenever I click on "Change my Plan" I get this error message: "An error has occurred, Please refresh the page or try again later". This error is unrelated to the suspension of my Plan because it is the reason I didn't use self serve and went through customer service in the first place. I am so frustrated now :( I use this line for work and wish I hadn't touched it at all.
I tried messaging Koodo on FB? no one is answering so far. Is there a support number I can call from overseas?

Koodo Phone Numbers: *611 from your cellphone, 1-866-995-6636, or +1 647-788-4337.  For Billing Inquiries: #227 from your mobile phone. I understand that calls to toll-free numbers via Skype are free, so you could use that app to call from overseas at minimal cost.
