When does the 10% SIM only discount starts (after i sign up with Koodo)?

I signed up with Koodo on march 18th, 2013 to take avantage of the "doble minutes and data" deals. I have my own phone and when i check the "View Plan" section on my koodo app on my phone, it says that i do have the "SIM only discount."

Anyway, on march 24, 2013 i got my first bill but with no 10% discounts; i had to pay the full fee. I called customer service right away and was told that the 10% discount starts the 2nd billing cycle?? WTF

Can a koodo rep verify this? Or show me where this is listed on the website that the 10% starts the 2nd billing??

Yes it does start on the second bill because of the way the system deals with the discount. Next month you'll have the 10% taken off of your plan position of your bill.

That said, Bonita is right, if that's the case it should be shown somewhere, otherwise everyone is gonna call looking for their discount after the first bill.

I've brought up the idea of adding the info to the disclaimer that pops up when looking into the discount right from the main page of the Koodo website here
