Just as a general try this; turn off the phone, pull the battery and sim card, reassemble and reboot and try again. Also, check the APN settings if Android go to:
Setting ---> Mobile Networks ---> Access Point Names (APN)

Name: KOODO
APN: sp.koodo.com
Proxy: 74.49.0.18
Port: 80
Username: leave blank
Password: leave blank
Server: leave blank
MMSC: http ://aliasredirect.net/proxy/koodo/mmsc
MMS Proxy server: 74.49.0.18
MMS Port: 80
MCC: 302
MNC: 220
Authentication type: No set
APN type: No set

This is what should show up. Hope this helps :)

Hi Stacy,

Do check the APN settings. They should be one as follows-
Go to
Setting ---> Mobile Networks ---> Access Point Names (APN)

Name: KOODO
APN: sp.koodo.com
Proxy: 74.49.0.18
Port: 80
Username: leave blank
Password: leave blank
Server: leave blank
MMSC: http ://aliasredirect.net/proxy/koodo/mmsc
MMS Proxy server: 74.49.0.18
MMS Port: 80
MCC: 302
MNC: 220
Authentication type: No set
APN type: No set

Make sure you delete the APN which says Telus APN, as it hinders with the Koodo APN.

Also, if you do have the Koodo APN in there, try adding another one - it will be exactly the same, except that for the name - I suggest Koodo 2 (this is just used to identify the APN that you are using), and then make sure that Koodo 2 is selected.

This works a lot of the time. If it does not then I suggest talking to tech support as there might be other problems (such as a data block somehow being added).
