When my phone arrives through the mail today can I activate it through online customer service, or would I need to call?

Also if I do need to call, would I have to contact them through phone call a different way? It would be useful to know before I get home that I'll have to make plans with someone to use their phone to make a call.

Hi Jasmine, chances are it will already come activated so just pop in thr SIM Card and try it out, if it isn't then log into your self serve account and you can set it up there.
Or if you already have a phone with koodo then if the SIM cards are the same size you can simply pull the SIM out of your old phone and put it in the new phone and away you go. Enjoy.

Okay, so my phone that was suspended because I lost it in the past is still suspended but I received a new phone with the same phone number and a different SIM card and I believe this one is now suspended. Should I call and ask Koodo to remove the old phone? Would my new phone be suspended?

I believe you can log into your self serve account and take the suspension off through there.
Have you tried the SIM and made sure its activated first?

I tried but it just says to call Koodo, and I tried calling and entering the new sim to activate the new phone and it said that it would take around 15 minutes for it to restart (?) but it's been almost an hour now

Okay, now the suspended phone isn't on my account but when I try calling my cell phone it still says the phone isn't in service

Have you tried turning the new phone with the SIM in it off and then back on, that can sometimes jump start the process.

I tried activating the SIM card and reactivating it and it's still not working.. I waited 25 minutes and it just says "searching" and when I look at the settings under "APN settings " it says "Koodo SP", I have no idea what else I can do..

It's an alcatel go flip and yes it now is, next time i'll definitely buy whatever in store
