Hey guys!! I tried reading the terms and conditions but it doesn’t really clarify what I’m trying to figure out. When will Koodo suspend or shut off my phone for non payment? I obviously plan to pay but money is super tight right now due to the holidays and such.

Just wondering when they will cut off service. Ex: how many days outstanding, or at what balance etc?

Thank you

It's a bit variable but usually beyond 30 days late for payment. You should contact Koodo's billing department to arrange alternate payment options so that you won't lose service if you end up not being able to pay in full on time.

Thanks for the quick reply! I already made a payment arrangement and now I’m wondering if I can make the payment I’m supposed to make tomorrow, in two weeks when I get paid next and then the remaining balance 2 weeks after :(

When you do payment arrangements is always important to respect them, if you make your payment on different dates other than agreed with Koodo, your account will be suspended...

So if running late for those payments, play safe and rearrange everything with Koodo...

Hi there...

There is no exact answer to your question... It depends on many factors and every client's collection path is different...

All I can say for sure at 100% is that you will not be suspended without knowing so... You will receive sms and calls from Koodo prior suspension...

If your account has a spending cap limit (i.e $200) the collection path is way short and is the only exception to the above, so you will be suspended as soon as you reach the cap...

Enjoy

How do I find out if I have a spending cap on my account and the amount of it if so?

You would know for sure... Usually accounts that based on credit check are restricted with this cap...

So if your credit is good, if let's say you have a TAB of more than 175$, or more than 3 lines with Koodo, etc, it means that you don't have a spending cap...

Pretty sure that you should be informed that you're on the spending limit program and what that limit is.

Got it. Yeah I have a tab larger than that so I don’t think I have a spending cap! Thanks guys appreciate it

Unfortunately we cannot answer that. You'll have to speak with billing again to see if that will prevent your service from being suspended. I can only tell you potentially yes as the decision is theirs at the end of the day.
