If you get it without a tab, but on a monthly plan (but not prepaid), then you're free to select whatever plan you want with no additional monthly fees. Currently, the cheapest plan is $29 + tax.

Once in a while we get double minutes and data. But currently I believe there is no promos. What province are you in?

You could sign up though and as soon as a promotion is on, you can switch to the new rate. You can switch once per month for free and usually Koodo offers double minutes/double data a few times per year.

Also, if you don't really use your phone that often, Koodo Prepaid is really good. Although you will have to buy your own device, you can just pay a cheap base plan of $15/month and add talk or data boosters.

If you buy the Moto G at full price without a Tab, then you can get a 10% discount off your monthly plan. So the cheapest plan at $29 per month will cost $26.10.

(This assumes that you do not already have a Tab balance)
