What's this Pay Per Use Data? I still have 700 MB remaining for this period. Yet the app shows "34MB of Pay per Use Data". That'll cost me an additional $0.69 (according to app).
Can anyone tell me how I incurred this PPU data before using up all the data included in my plan?

What Plan do you have Yolanda?

PPU data is charged when you generally don't have a block of data to use or when you go over the limit of such a block of data. Based on what you said, the only logical explanation might be that there was a plan change at some point during the current bill cycle and the PPU data was used before there was a block of data to use.

Any clarity on this?

I have not changed my plan. I got this for $56 a month last December when they did the "double" promotion.

Although you say you have not gone over your allotment of data, it seems like you were charged overage of 2 cents per MB, which used to be the overage rates for plans last year. Did you go over in your previous month? That could be what's being reflected in the current bill.

Yes, and I paid that. I was over by 48MB I believe. And then it went to 0 when this new billing period started.

I have the, what is now $60 double plan w unlimited calling & text and 2 GB.
Like I said, I still have 700MB remaining.
Earlier this week it read "2MB" chargeable, then "14"... now I'm at 34. And I'm puzzled because I've not used up the 2gigs yet.

Unless someone else has a better suggestions, you should call Koodo Customer Service and have this addressed.

Have you checked your usage via the regular Self Serve portal on the main website?

No, I have not. I will do that before calling Koodo service.

Here, just on the off chance I'm missing something? Or maybe someone else has this problem... This is what the app shows:

Certainly looks to me, as you described Yolanda.

Since you've not changed your plan, perhaps it's some little glitch that a Koodo Customer Service Rep could address.
I am curious, as to what circumstances caused this and perhaps you could post the out come, after speaking to the friendly folks at Koodo.

Is it only present in the app or in the Self Serve web version? If it's the same thing on both, then something is weird. If not, then you can call them or e-mail them via this link : https://secure.koodomobile.com/accoun... to notify them there's a problem

But as you can see, I can't seen to find a place where you've been charged for those extra MB. It says that you owe 0$ in "DATA USAGE SUMMARY"

Ok, let's see if this post goes up.

I spoke to Alex (Koodo Rep), he said it's because my plan is regularly only 1GB the app thinks anything over my 1 is counted as chargeable. He assured me I am not charged until I go over the 2GB.
I find it odd the bar measures 2048MB.. But whatever. I guess the people who thought it was an app glitch were right?
And ya, anyone else wondering in the future, you can just call service to get things corrected if they bill you when you did not go over your limit.

Thanks everyone!

Happy you got everything sorted out! It'S weird though you're getting charged 34Mb when you're 314Mb over the 1Gb cap limit!

Anyway, it's not important. Have a nice day!

BTW Yolanda 2Gigs = 2048 Mega Bytes. This is why you see 2048 in the app.
