What is the best Micro SD Card to use with Samsung Note 3? I want to know what is considered important when purchasing an sd card? I would like to purchase a 64GB sd card and have it run the fastest and most efficient while shooting HD pics/movies as well for apps etc. Thanks for your help.

I've heard that samsung class 10's work the best. or the sandisk mobile ultra looks promising. http://tech.ca.msn.com/best-samsung-g...

Daniel is correct, keep in mind that moving apps to SD can be hit and miss and I've heard it can make the Note 3 unstable causing things to crash. So if your phone does start to crash install an app called Apps2SD from the PlayStore and make sure that app is installed on the internal Storage. Games may also do the same so just something to help you trouble shoot if apps or games seem to crash on the phone. Everything else is fine, pics, videos, music should all be fine.

Speed, capacity and data transfer rates are key factors. The differing class numbers indicate their respective bus speeds. Classes 2,4,6 are considered normal speed with data transfer rates of 12.5MB/second while Class 10 cards are considered high speed, transferring data at 25MB/second.

Below are some links that will provide a better understanding of the varying classes, capacities and data transfer speeds. As Daniel mentions, a class 10 microSDXC card is likely your best option, these cards start off at 32GB capacities and can go as high as 2TB (terabytes) provided that your device supports this capacity. Other brands worth looking into are Kingston and Lexar.

Class 10 data transfer speeds stay pretty much the same at 25MB/s. The UHS class of memory cards may not be compatible with your Note 3, however the link below mentions otherwise, stating that the SanDisk Extreme MicroSDXC UHS-I is ideal for tablets, smartphones, and cameras.

With up to 45MB/s read and write speeds, this class 1 (U1) microSDXC card is nearly twice the speed when compared to class 10 microSDXC cards.
