This all depends on what you are looking for exactly. This is subjective at best.

The answer? Depends what you can afford.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 and Google Nexus 4 are both state if the art

The S3 is last years top

The S2x is the year before that

The Galaxy Ace 2x is an updated entry level android, so is the Optimus Black ( the ace 2x has better hardware imho)

Avoid the original Samsung Galaxy Ace and the HTC One V. Out of the box, both have issues. Unless you're willing to root them

Hope this helps

I have a samsung glaxy grand prime. It is too slow. I had an iPhone with Bell before switching to Koodo . I wonder if it is the cellphone or the privider causes this slowness. Due to nature of my job I multi task with phone so need a faster device. Is there any sugestion what to consider when buying a faster device? Thank you.

It has nothing to do with the carrier. The phone itself is the reason why it's slow. Also, in order to suggest a phone we need to know your budget

It's the phone. The Galaxy Prime is an entry level Android device with 1 GB of RAM, LTE Cat4 speeds and limited internal storage. A phone with 3 GB of RAM, LTE Cat 6 and preferably 32 GB of internal storage should be able to meet your multi-tasking needs.

It depends on your personal preference and what you're prepared to spend. I have no problem recommending the S7 Edge (4 GB RAM/LTE Cat 9). The S7 is identically spec'd, minus the curved glass screen. The S6 is another good choice (3 GB RAM/LTE Cat 6). No complaints about the S5 Neo (2 GB RAM/LTE Cat 6).

When I bought this phone I explained my situation but I guess it is always better knowing how to pic one rather than relying seller s pitch. My budget is no more than $ 700.

Thanks for the help

Hmm...3GB+ ram phones with decent processors...I'd say DTEK50, Asus Zenfone 3, ZTE Axon 7, Oneplus 3 for the 400-500 dollar range (plus tax). The last two have flagship level specs for 520CAD. There's the Xperia XA ultra as well. 6" 1080p screen and it has probably the best selfie camera there is right now. That's its main attraction. The LG G5 can be found for pretty good deals as well.  Koodo has it for 560 on tab medium, and they sell for 400ish used atm.The Zenfone 3 uses the latest mid range CPU, while putting more money in 4GB ram 64gb storage and a good camera. Xiaomi's Redmi Note 3 Pro is an exceptional device for 250 CAD (estimated total handling fees and taxes) with 3/32GB ram and a snapdragon 650 CPU. That's probably it for up to 700. I mean, sure there's the Moto Z Play, but I consider it 200 too much, and you may as well get the Zenfone 3 instead.

Ya and you have it bang on for Koodo's line up, with the Galaxy S4 being the undisputed top of the lineup with the one issue being that of the 16gb internal storage you only have like 9gb available to you because the feature packed OS takes up a whopping 8gb which is kind of ridiculous. If they're features you'd use then it's all good, but if you need more room than 9gb for apps/games then it's not good at all. In that case the S3 or Nexus 4 is the phone you'll want. If your talking any phone out there than I stand by the Galaxy Note 2 being the best smartphone period, of any OS or maker or anything it wins hands down. (just make sure you put a case on it because that massive pane of glass is very fragile.

What's "this phone?" If it's android and an apk file then yes.
