What is going on???

At 1:52 this afternoon, I got an email from Koodo saying I was at 75% usage of data... at 2:52, new message saying I was at 95% usage... tonight, new message saying I am $10 over on usage for data... I am not using the phone at all... why is this happening and how can I stop this?

apps are most likely being updated in the background which is eating up your data. I suggest setting your apps to update on wifi only. playstore>menu>auto updates checked> and make sure update over wifi only is checked as well.

Oh thats a windows phone, my instructions were for android, Im actually not sure how on a windows phone as I've never had one. give me a moment I will google it.

Nokia doesn't do automatic updates for apps if I'm not mistaken. But go into settings -> phone updates and then turn whichever setting on/off that you want. (This is in regards to OS update). How much data do you have in your plan?
