Based on your response I guess you have prepaid... But if ever you add a booster for minutes, you will be able to take advantage of this feature!

It means we don't have to hold two phones anymore to talk to two people at once. Welcome to the 21st century!

Beware. For those that don't have experience with smartphones, it is possible to start a conference call by accident, then hang up on one person, but not the other. Frankly, I don't know how that happens, but it happened to my wife when she misdialed our number, then called us again, meanwhile the number she dialed was to the US, and there was no one there, and the connection never closed itself until she shut off the phone. Thank goodness it was a call made later at night and she shut it down a while later... Still costed us way too much... :(

Needless to say, after seeing the bill, I taught her a thing or two about how conference calling works, and how to tell if you really have ended all your calls. If you make a mistake calling a number, make sure you end your call before dialing again, or conference calling will kick in. At least on older Gingerbread Android phones...

Don't most smartphones let you know that the line is still open? And isn't the display kept on during the entire call (unless the proximity sensor is engaged, or you shut off the display manually)?
