My current plan has 500 minutes. I am looking at switching to a plan that has Unlimited Canada-wide anytime minutes? How many minutes do I have to call between 8 am to 5 pm.

All of them. It's an unlimited minutes plan.

Your current plan would be 500min for calls between 8am-5pm and unlimited minutes between 5pm-8am.

Keep in mind that when you switched tour plan is prorated. So the part of your billing cycle where you have 500 minutes will be less as a result. For example if you switched 15 days in you would have 15/30 * 500 = 250 minutes of daytime. So if you used 300 in those 15 days you would incur 50 minutes of overage charges.

And, there is an unlimited minutes add-on available through self-serve, which can be purchased to avoid the additional overage charges, should you find it necessary to use more than your allotted minutes.

my bill just got generated and I have not used those minutes 500 minutes in my current plan. So just to understand currently, under my new plan, I have "unlinited minutes" for 8 am to 5 pm correct?

If you have a plan with 500min that means you have 500min between 8am-5pm and unlimited from 5pm-8am.

If you have a plan with unlimited minutes then you have unlimited minutes no matter when you call.
