For calling the U.S. what is the advantage of the $3 a month vs. $10 a month if they both provide .05 per minute? What is the $10 unlimited and how does it work?

The $10 feature isn't 5 cents/minute, it's unlimited U.S minutes. The $3 add on gives you the 5 cents/minute rate.

Thank you Jonathan. Am I right in understanding that for the $10 Add will give me unlimited minutes to the U.S. and that it doesn't deduct from my booster plan minutes?

If you are on prepaid you cannot get the add-ons.

The add-ons are for monthly postpaid plans

Are you on prepaid? If you are, this isn't available to prepiaid, only to postpaid customers

On postpaid, if you have an unlimited plan, yes it will not deduct from your minutes. If on another "limited" plan, it will deduct from your minutes!
