I would like to cancel my koodo service and port my number to another company? What is the cancellation policy now? Do I still need to pay for extra 30 days of services that I do not use? Or the service be cancelled in the end of the current billing period?
You will have to pay off your tab (if any) before being able to close your account. If you are wanting to keep your number with the new company, go activate with the new one and ask them to port it over. While doing this, the new company will most likely be cancelling your Koodo service as well. After the process is done, you might want to call Koodo just to make sure everything was closed properly and that you are all done with them.
