Tab Large is a very bad idea unless you have a MB/SK/QC number.

Koodo says: "Why pay more for the same coverage?"
Modified for Tab Large: "Why pay more for the exact same plan?"

You pay $216 extra ($9/month difference between plans) over 2 years just for getting Tab Large. Difference between Tab Medium and Tab Large is $144. Pay $216 extra over 2 years just to pay $144 less at the beginning? Ridiculous. You might as well get a payday loan.

Yup.  Totally ridiculous.  But people still get the tab large anyways.

Sometimes there are promo's that can also come into play. Sometimes a $100+ activation discount is only applicable on tab large (meaning if tab medium or small is even an option, it might not carry over that activation discount on the device). Deals change all the time. Personally, I think carrying a device balance of $504 is a bit rich for my blood, but still a fair discount compared to all other carriers who will let you put $800+ away on a 2 yr (even if it's zero upfront).
