In my recent invoice I noticed that I have been charged with additional usage charges for “Airtime”, while my plan has unlimited Airtime. Can anyone explain what is this charge for?

You should check your invoice (page 3 etc), Keivan, perhaps you called to another country, or you might have been roaming? How much were you charged extra?

Have you change your plan during last billing cycle (from say 200 or 500 minutes plan to unlimited minutes plan.)?

@ Keivan, you called Europe. That's why there is a charge next "Long Distance - US / Int'l Phone" on your invoice.

I see you already got your answer Anna when you called in. Save the hassle of calling next time. :-) We could have given you the answer here too without having to wait for an rep.

Hard to see but is that an HD Sportster you are riding?

Now, as far as you bill, you do not have any charges for local minutes. As you said you are on an unlimited plan. The charges you see are call to Florida, so long distance calls. If you download your bill you will see the calls itemized when and where they were made.

I saw it on my bill, I saw the number. How ever I did not dial 1 and the lady I was calling lives real close. It is very odd. But I guess whatever.

If she has a US number, it would be a long distance call unless you were in HER local area, in which case you would be roaming, and paying roaming fees instead!

The cellular network now places calls to numbers without the '1' being dialled. There is usually a notice, that long distance charges may apply.

I have been hit airtime charges for making call to Baltimore (US) from Canada. I have canada wide unlimited plan. My question is can I put some restriction to call only canada wide and not international one. What is the way to do this? Pl need your help. Thanks, Sheraz
