What constitutes "an upgrade"?

Two Questions...

1) I'm an existing customer, been with Koodo since 2012.  My current plan includes the "contribution tab", which I like.  I'm currently using a Galaxy 3 phone and am thinking of upgrading but your language concerning the contribution tab is a tad fuzzy.  It says:

" Is Koodo Contribution or No Tab Discount offered with the new Tab? No. Neither Koodo Contribution nor the No Tab Discount is available with the new Tab.

The savings are now directly included in the price of the plan. Customers who activated prior to April 19, 2015, are not affected by this change until they upgrade. "

My question is upgrade what?  The phone or the plan? Please specify.

2) Why is it when I go to post something here on the board I have to sign-in again?  I've already signed in!  I couldn't get to this page to ask a question without signing in!  And why do you seem to insist on either my Google or Facebook identity?  My regular Koodo sign-in info isn't good enough to post?  THAT pisses me off!  You don't need my google or Facebook info.  I assume you do this for marketing purposes so you can spam up my facebook page and all my friends too?

Geez Louise... enuf with the corporate crapolla already!

1. It's either or that will do it.

2. Because the forum system used by Koodo is a third party known as Get Satisfaction. So a separate login is needed.

Why so cynical and angry? You don't get spammed by Koodo if you use facebook/google for your login credentials. It's just a convenience thing. Koodo does not insist on either since you can use a Get Satisfaction account instead.

My apologies Goran.  Every once in awhile something happens that just touches a nerve.  I've written replies to articles, etc, over the years that end up getting lost after I hit send because of the extra layer of yet another sign-in requirement. I had visions of that happening here.  It didn't happen, I was able to go back and add the angry Q2, then copy in case it did disappear.  I realize you're probably not being paid overly well and get to put up with cranky ppl all day every day over policies you have no personal control over.  Sorry i vented.  Have a nice rest-of-the-day.  If possible.

No worries! Actually mobile masters are not employees an don't get paid. U less it says "employee" beside the name, then that person does not work for Koodo.

Thankfully Koodo doesn't do that sort of thing RE spamming and such. Thanks ! I hope that you have a great day as well.
