Warranty (screen unresponsive to touch)

I bought my phone (Nexus 4) about a month ago and the screen got a crack (which is not the problem), but now the screen won't even respond to touch... I am unable to put in my code or answer phone calls, texts etc. Is this covered his covered under warrranty and what is the process I have to go through (do i get a temporary phone while its being fixed)?

Because you have that crack on your screen, it could be the reason and to be honest, is most likely the reason why your screen stopped working. Because of that, you won't be covered under your warranty. I'd go into a Koodo shop and see your available options for sending it in out of warranty.

No its not covered under warranty because the screen not working is caused by the damage of the cracked display. It doesn't matter if it was working when it first happened because the damage was done when the screen got cracked you just got lucky that it worked for a bit after the screen crack. You'll have to send it away for repair & pay for the repair. You can get a loaner phone while it's being repaired for a refundable fee of $150 that you'll get back when you return the loaner phone in the same condition you recieved it.

The digitizer is broken, and the crack is indeed the cause.

This will cost you $150-200 for repair.
