Hi, I have a Samsung Galaxy Ace GT-S5830D with Koodo which I have purchased a few months ago. Currently my handset doesn't turn on at all. Can you tell me how I can claim warranty on this handset? Thank you
Within 14 days (MBG) = can be returned and changed to another phone.
More than 14 days the 1 year warranty applies if not (a customer damge, cracks, water spell etc..) can be sent for repair or get Priority exchange.
To confirm warranty status on the phone, feel free to call Koodo so they can let you know the details. If it is covered under warranty, you can bring it to a Koodo Kiosk to have them send it away for repair and get a loaner phone for $150 fully refundable deposit. If that does not fix the issue, you can request a Priority Replacement and with that you will receive a refurb phone within 3 - 5 business days. that has a $25 non-refundable fee. That fee can be questioned at the time of request. Up to the agent you speak with about adjusting it. If you decide on the PRE before the store repair process, the $25 should not be waived but that is just my opinion on it. All depends who you speak to.
