Planning to get a Z10 which is locked to Koodo. It is new in unopened box, however I am buying of the original owner. Will Koodo honor the waranty?

Thanks,

J

As long as it's a Koodo phone, the warranty will be honored.

Dont you have to have the original receipt or will they be able to tell when the phone was purchased?

When a Koodo phone is on a Koodo account(no matter who bought the phone originally), it will display the warranty time frame. No receipt is needed

The receipt is only needed if it's being returned within the first 14 days.

I would think they should be able to just pull up the IMEI and confirm it's a Koodo device....

If it is, I don't think Koodo can neglect to honor the warranty. It's a manufacturers warranty, they just facilitate it....
