I have warranty on my Samsung Galaxy S4 and its fairly new, and its been lost/stolen recently, I was told the cost of the new one is $250 to "pay off my tab" but since I pay warranty for it every month , would I be able to get a new one at no charge and still pay off my tab per bill cycle?

Did you pay for extra warranty or are we discussing what the phone comes with?

So you pay the $6 per month extended warranty and your not looking at or thinking of the tab charge for the phone cost it's self?

If you do indeed have an extended warranty through Koodo and not a retailer like future shop, Walmart ect then as far as I'm seeing it doesn't cover lost or stolen phones just damaged, so you have to have a phone to return when they send you the new one.

Here's a link but you should look at your physical agreement (papers issued to you at time of purchase) to see if there's more of an extended warranty explanation than this http://koodomobile.com/en/on/extended...

Your probably best to contact customer service and they will tell you your options.
Extra warranty in case something were to happen with it
Okay, thank you very much for your help!

I dont think any extended warranty or manufacturer's warrenty cover lost/stolen phones.

The only thing that covers this is your credit card insurance (assuming you bought the phone out right on said credit card). Or your home insurance policy (a police report will need to be filed to report it stolen)

Automatic credit card insurance covers theft/damage etc. but usually only for the first 90 days.

Probably cheaper to pay off the tab and proceed anew rather than to bug insurance company (most have some deductible) and have a claim against you on their record with a minimal payout or denied claim.

You need to go to the Police. and Speak with your home insurance.

If someone stole your new car, you dont go back to the dealership.  You go to the police and auto insurance.

Certain protection plans offered by some operators cover loss and theft. Koodo's doesn't. These plans are usually quite pricey.
