Warning need on Koodo Forum site.

I believe that Koodo should place in any area, that refers to the forum to ask questions and indeed on the Koodo Community main page a warning. It should be in large red bold letters. It should say to the effect do not use your phone numbers, email address, very personal matters etc. in your question. More and more people are putting such information in their questions. It is obvious that some do not realize that this is a very public forum and not a secure site of Koodo. They place themselves in a very vulnerable position. Case in point is the poor lady this morning that included her medical history, her cell number, her account number and her home phone number. Others have included email addresses. Fortunately one of the "Masters" had a contact at Koodo to remove it.

You could use skywriting, bottom line oust people don't bother to read it.

That's why we will get the same questions over and over, because people don't bother to read.

I know Chad, it's a problem, that is why I suggested large red bold letters. I think of the lady this morning that some kook could have called her pretending to be koodo and ..........................

It's been suggested before and koodo does have a warning but people Don't read it. And the reps here usually catch it and remove it. I've also texted customers and told them to remove it.

I just checked Chad and I found that Zaphod Beeblebrox did suggest this 2 years ago. I'm glad someone tries to catch them. I just think of the consequences I guess. Your link gave me a 404 error, but I assume it's a warning when you sign up here.

Link to get this stuff removed:

I always tell poster a message has been left with moderator to delete their post, but they should edit the original to exclude the personal info.

Sometimes their reactions are, to say the least, amusing.

Thanks Bob for the link. It's just that many moons ago and in another life, I had a job where I dealt with some of the problems that this type of info could create. I guess it's never left me.

Sadly, people honestly don't read. You could create a flowchart that asks "does your post contain personal information?" "are you sure?" "are you really sure?" "are you really really certain?" and they would still manage to include their phone number, full address, pin code and social security number. Such is modern society, I am ashamed to say :(
