I have a Samsung Galaxy Ace and would like to upgrade to a Samsung Galaxy S4. However, in Walmart it says I can get one for $98 yet here I would have to pay over $400. I really would like to upgrade but definately NOT at that price!

Are you on the Koodo tab? because if you are you may have to pay the remaining amount.

The $98 sounds like a Robellus price or a Koodo Tab L price. You can do cheaper in store but it will involve paying more on your plan (for Tab L).

$450 on small Tab and $300 on medium. You can take any plan (including keeping your old one) on Tab S, on Tab M the only stipulation is it must be the $29 plan or higher + $5 Tab Charge until the tab is paid off or 24 months comes around, whichever comes first.

The device you were likely looking at is the Samsung Galaxy Discover prepaid offered for $98.83 through Koodo. I don't see a Koodo S4 offered through Walmart. The Telus S4 lists for $698.00.

You probably won't find postpaid phones on walmart's regular store website. I think they have a separate one for those.

It's my understanding Walmart entered into an agreement with Koodo back in August 2012 to sell prepaid services/devices exclusively. Walmart doesn't have an agreement with Koodo to sell postpaid services/devices in Canada.
