The network my phone is on is shutting down at the end of the month (yes I still use a flip phone...) I am not interested in changing phones and would like to close my account. Can I do that online or do I need to speak with someone?
Did you get a notice that your network is being shut down? Telus states that it's only for BC and Alberta and only for data service anyway... so your phone should still work for the time being. Next year for sure it might be disconnected, though.
Some flip phones actually use HSPA, like the A341. You could always look into getting that, that way you can keep your plan and service intact. You can even buy it pre-owned for $50 on Tab S with $0 down, which is a very small Tab to commit to, and have Koodo pay for it each month.
