Want to exchange defective phone bought online. Can I cancel plan/return phone and purchase again?

I realize that in order to exchange a defective phone online, I would need to wait for a return mailer, send my defective phone to Koodo and wait for a new one to arrive. I think this would take several weeks to complete. Would it be possible to just cancel my plan and return the defective phone, and purchase it again with the same plan/phone?

I don't want to cheat the system, but needless to say, it's ridiculous that I'd need to wait several weeks to get a good phone, and without even a loaner phone during this period.

If you live by a kiosk, would they not help you with the warranty?

if you are within the return period, I would cancel and return and start from scratch again. Note that if you cancel you will lose your number

Hey! We would need to receive your phone before you cancel or else you will be charged the Tab. We truly appreciate your patience in this busy period of the year!
