Want to change plan on phone with no tab but has another phone with a tab under the same name

I have 2 phones in my name with different numbers and acct numbers mine has a tab the other one doesn't I want to change the no tab acct to a better plan and it says I have to pay off the tab first don't understand because that phone has no tab

Are you sure you have the right account selected when you are trying to upgrade and that that account has a $0 tab balance? If both of the above are true I would suggest contacting Koodo directly to figure this one out.
