Want to cancel phone - hate it!!

I picked the wrong phone in January when I was shopping for a new one..  On my contract it was noted I would be pay $28 per month.  Now I get notificatain I will owe $93.10.  What is the extra change for?  

I also feel this phone is too fancy for me - I just won't use all the features it comes with.  Could I sell the new phone and replace it with another?

Hi Margaret,

First, yes you can certainly sell your phone and get another, but you'd have to pay off the Tab. What phone is it? Do you need some help with the features?

As for the $93.10, your invoice should tell you what that is for, have you checked page 3 etc of your PDF bill?

Have you reviewed your PDF invoice in Self-serve? It contains all the fine details of your bill.

Sign into the self serve website.
Click view my bill.
Click download bill (pdf).
Review your bill, and we can try to answer questions arising from it.

Yes, you can sell the phone you don't like and purchase another. There are two usual options:

You can keep your current plan and TAB payment, buying a new phone outright from Koodo or another supplier, or

You can pay out your current Tab, and get a new Koodo phone on a new tab. This has the effect of putting your current Tab on your next month's bill, so you have a bit of time to sell your old phone & have cash in hand for your bill.
