I have an older phone with Koodo that is paid off, I am looking to uprade to an I phone, but they won't let me purchase online without switching plans, which takes effect immediately, but I wouldn't get the phone for 3 weeks? From what I can tell, I must change my plan and can't keep my old plan, is there anyway around this?

Yes there is. You only need to change your plan to get tab large, or if you want tab medium then you need a plan that's 40 dollars or 35 in QC. You don't need to change your grandfathered plan if you do tab small but I don't think many iphones except the older models will let you use a tab small. So depending on this. If your plan is 40 or more and you want a tab medium and it won't let you, then you will have to message Koodo via Facebook or DM via Twitter to get it fixed so you don't have to change your plan. Or maybe the webstore instead.

How old is your plan? If it has a positive tab contribution ,you should only be required to switch to the current tab system

I think you can buy in-store on Tab small or buy outright (in this case I would order direct from Apple and the phone will be unlocked)

ok, so it looks like the tab medium is the issue, and I do have to switch to a new plan.  I do have a positive tab, but it still brings me to medium.  Thanks so much!

You only need to switch as I said if your plan is less than 40. Is that the case ?

If you want to keep your plan, you just need to pay more upfront for your phone.  It's gonna have to be a choice you need to make
