I've been on hold with customer service for over an hour and a half. Is this normal?

Hey Sophia,

I called in earlier today to cancel my previous Koodo plan because I switched to a new number and got the $60/10 gig plan. 

I was waiting on the phone for over 2 hours earlier today and when I finally got through to an agent he canceled the wrong plan. I went to my local Koodo and they said that I had to call in, so I had to switch to my old sim card and I have been on the phone for over 2 hours again trying to get through to get the proper plan activated and cancel the right plan. 

It's very frustrating and I have to get it done tonight because I use the phone for work. Is there anything that can be done through here?
