Voicemail states "Not activated on the network"

I tried calling my voicemail, i clearly have voicemails left on my phone, but it states that im "Not activated on the network. Please call client care"
How could i not be on the network when im able to text and call but not access my voicemail?

It might be that you don't have voicemail in your plan?

yes. I have voicemail on my plan and it was working fine up until now.

What phone?
How are you accessing voicemail?
Have you tried dialing your own number from the cellphone?

i have a samsung galaxy Ace II. I cant even make out going calls anymore. If this does not get fixed soon, i will be going else where after being a reliable customer for 2 years.
